Painting
Outside of making monsters and masks, I also paint. This page showcases my paintings from over the years. Some original work and some from my favorite films ever! Click images to enlarge.

Diner Lovebirds: A 24x26in painting showing a couple living a chaotic life but no matter what will always stick by each other's side.

IDIOT!: A 24x36in painting showing how dumb it is to drive distracted. We all have done it at one point in time but is it really worth it?

Freckle Fighter and My Playground!: Freckle Fighter (Left) measures at 30x40in and My Playground! (Right) measures at 18x24in. Two self portraits of my younger self painted in acrylics.

9 and The Hallway: Both 18x24in pieces are painted in acrylics. Two very meaningful pieces to me.

Auditorium 3 and Franken Boy: A couple original paintings measuring at 16x20in and painted in acrylics. Auditorium 3 showing the life of a movie theater usher and Franken boy showing that monsters have been around from the very beginning.

The Thing and Leatherface: An 18x24in painting of the assimilated monsters of The Thing next to a 16x20in cozy painting of Leatherface chasing you on a hot Texas day. Both are painted in acrylics.

The Phantom and Davy Jones: The Phantom (Left) was a quick 2 hour study of the Lon Chaney Phantom and measures at 12x16in. Davy Jones is an oil painting with a custom fabricated frame to replicate his ship The Flying Dutchman measuring at 18x24in.

London After Midnight and The Exorcist: Two acrylic paintings from horror. The London After Midnight painting (Left) is a study of SFX Artist Rick Baker, I tried replicating the painting he created. That one measures at 18x24 inches while The Exorcist is 16x20 inches.

Indy & Melted Toht: Two pieces from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Toht (Left) is acrylics and Indy (Right) is mixed media alcohol markers/ colored pencils.
